The Angel Window

theangelwindow.jpg

One of the best-known of the stained glass windows is the Angel Window 60 feet (18 metres) above the Choir, installed in 1868 under the direction of a Bridge of Allan architect, James Collie, facing the Apse and Communion Table. It is designed to be an encouragement for us to be open to God's message and to see the angel in every person and in every situation. But, like so many of the earlier craftsmen, the designer is unknown. The angel window is featured on cards which are on sale in the Church. window location
