In memory of Charles Randolph, born at Stirling June 22nd 1809, died at Glasgow November 11th 1878, erected by his widow Margaret Randolph. The subject of the window is the wedding at Cana, Christ turning the water into wine. Note the bridal group seated at the left hand side. This window commemorates Charles Randolph, engineer and shipbuilder, who became one of Glasgow University's greatest benefactors and who, here in his native town, advanced the cause of education by funding at the High School the dux medal named after him.
